                                          Happy the Clown

                                         

Jules recently scored and recorded the original soundtrack for the short film, Happy the Clown, at her Apple Tree Studio.

The opening, which is featured above, is Jules’ adaptation of Jeff Daniels’ song, “You can call me Happy”.   Happy the Clown was written and directed by Joel Newport and stars Lawton Paseka.  Go see Happy at these great film festivals.

2013, Christmas song Joy was a finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest. Jules loves the Brits!


2011, Count to Four was a finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest. Listen to it on the Was that Jules? page.


2009, Cliché finished in the top 100 in the Billboard World Songwriting Contest.


Jules’ song “Cliché” won the Rock/Alternative category in the USA Songwriting competition from over 37,000 entries.  The song was also 3rd Grand Prize overall. 


SXSW 2008 - South by Southwest, Austin TX Jules played a

Singer Songwriter showcase sponsored by the USA Songwriting Competition. 


2008, Jules entered four songs from the album “View” in the UK Songwriting Contest, the largest competition in Europe.  Much Ado, Cliché, Morning (A Hymn for Her) and View were all finalists in several categories.
